Garble, Carol

Carol Marie Garble, 60, of Manchester, passed away suddenly Friday, October 7th. Born in Edena, Ohio, daughter of Dorothy (Kiggins) Garble of Lancaster, Ohio and the late John Garble. Carol had been associated with Pratt and Whitney in East Hartford for 28 years and Vistar in Windsor for 12 years and most recently was the Shipping Supervisor at Andover Tech in South Windsor. She was an avid New York Giants and UCONN Women’s Basketball fan and had a great love and appreciation for wolves and dolphins. Besides her mother, Carol is survived by her dear friend Janice M. Dinsmore whom she lived with, her brother, John Garble, her nephew John Garble II and niece Janessa Garble all of Columbus, OH, her aunt and uncle, Harry and Connie Kiggins of Cadiz, OH and she will be remembered as Auntie Carol to all the nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her sister Diana Garble. Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 180 Farmington Ave., Hartford on Wednesday (Oct. 12) from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be Thursday (Oct. 13) at 9:15am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 872 Farmington Ave., West Hartford at 10:00am. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Agnes Guild, 104 Mayflower St., West Hartford, CT 06110.
