Just learned of the passing of Michael and, having worked and known him for over 25 years I am saddened and in disbelief. I will miss his infectious sense of humor and the way he conducted himself.

I rarely admire, respect, and like those in the law enforcement field but he was the best.

    He will be missed.

My sincere sympathy to the Czerepuszko family.
Mike has helped me a few times in snow storms, torrential rain, on holidays and anytime I needed a ride. Always kind, considerate, courteous and just fun to be around. My 3 daughters in law shared a ride to NYC with him last year and we’re still talking about what a great guy he was. Thanks
to him the trip to the city and back was stress free.
I am so sorry for your loss.

    Dear Czerepuszko Family,

Over the years Mike and I worked together on a variety of issues. He was always someone I could count on to be honest, communicative, caring and sensitive. He cared and understood the 18-22 years olds and as tough and clear as he was about right and wrong, he seemed to have that soft side which said, “I was a kid once, I get this.”

Mike was a wonderful man for the University of Hartford and we will all miss him.

Always a gentleman and always a gentle man. One of the first people I met at the University of Hartford. He was a great person to spend time with and our small group had good times in a simpler era. He will be missed.

My heart broke today when John called me and told me Mike was gone. He was my friend and confidant when I was a student at UHa back in the early 80’s and we kept in touch over the years. I will miss him. Thank you Mike for being my friend and being there when I needed you. You will never be forgotten.

    Dear Czerepuszko Family,

I am deeply saddened to learn of Mike’s passing. He was my supervisor for two years, and many a dreary post-midnight shift was brightened by Michael’s smile and sense of humor. A no-nonsense guy on the surface and a professional in every sense of the word, those of us whom knew him realized what a warm, caring guy Mike was.

While nothing can ever replace him, I hope the knowledge that he was held in such high esteem by so many brings you all some solace and comfort.

    God bless,

    Paul Blawie
