    Dear Sandy and family,
We are so grateful to have had you and Dewey as neighbors for nearly 20 years now. It hardly seems possible that much time has passed. Dewey was the ‘go to’ guy in the neighborhood. He always had a wave as I passed your house walking the dogs, during the summers he would drop in for a chat on the deck, George and he would compare notes on fixing things, and the list goes on and on. It is rare to find a neighbor like Dewey who held the value system of days passed when neighbors so comfortably dropped in on each other that he became an extension of our family. We will treasure the time we spent with both of you. We will miss Dewey very much, the neighborhood won’t be the same without him. He surely has made an impact on the friends that knew him over the years. God bless you, Sandy and your family as you move forward and please know we are always here for you in an instant any time day or night if you need anything. Love, George, Cheryl and Molli Carr

I got kicked off the computer before I could finish my story, but there must have been a reason. I was honored to have got back together with Dewey in the mid 80’s when I met T.J. and again in the late 90’s at Scott’s house. Dear Sandy and you girls I am sorry for your loss my prayers are with you and the girls. He has gone to rest with the Lord and will be free of all worries. My love is with you all.

May Popie rest in piece. He and I started out together in Ti. both being members of the Quality Hill gang. Back in the late 40s and early 50s. The other members of the gang were Richard Noel, Ed Moore,DD Noel, our mode of transportation was our bicyles and they were hand made from the dump.We were a group that didn’t have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of, but together we could do anything we set our minds to. Dewey got his nick name from being Irish and realy liked to fight ,enough said.
