Popovich, Douglas

Douglas A. Popovich, 30, of Burlington, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Born in Bristol, July 5, 1985, he was the son of Valerie Ann (Lucey) Popovich of Burlington and Paul J. Popovich of Winsted. Besides his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth L. Robinson of Burlington, his brother, Benjamin Popovich of Winsted, a special nephew, Tyson Popovich and many cousins and extended family and friends. Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St. Rt. 4, Unionville on Saturday (Oct. 24) from 10-11:30am followed by a Prayer Service in the funeral home at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you perform an act of kindness in Douglas’s name.
