Cecilia Kazimierczak of Burlington, CT, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday morning March 21st.
She was the loving mother of four children, Katharine, Bettina (Bruce) Crockett, George (Marie) and Stanley (Sandi) who will miss her greatly. Cecilia also leaves behind the loves of her life, her beautiful and caring grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Joshua, Elizabeth, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Nina and Jacob. Besides her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren she leaves behind a large family in Germany.
Cecilia was born in 1930 in Oberndorf Germany, the daughter of Emma and August Schreiber. She came to this country with her late husband Mieczyslaw in the early 1960’s with their young daughters to begin a new life for their family.
She worked at GE in Plainville for over 25 years without even missing a day of work. She enjoyed her job but lost her husband early on and made the decision to stay on in the USA without him. She became the mother and father to their four children on her own. Cecilia made it her life’s goal to give her children a good and loving home.
Cecilia had a wonderful smile and made everyone she met feel welcome. She loved to sing, garden and document all the everyday goings on as well as special occasions with her camera. Her camera was always within reach and everything was picture worthy.
Her family feels blessed to have had such a wonderful, loving and kind woman in their life. We know she is in heaven smiling down on us as she runs again through open fields of flowers.
