Leigh Turner, Lee as we knew him, was the best neighbor we have ever had. He was not one to sit still and was always busy doing something, like tending to his beautiful yard, fixing a structure, performing maintenance on his lawn tractor, and so on. He also loved to read and many a book have we exchanged. It was not unreasonable to expect that one so active in body and mind would be around for a very long time. So the news of his sudden passing took us by complete and devastating surprise.

Lee jumped at the chance to come and help with anything, most often without having to be asked and then brushed off any thanks offered as though they were excessive. He was an expert at practical things and generous with gifting his expertise. This wonderful man it was our good fortune to have living next door.

Those of his kin he has left behind will have his example to follow. Those of us who benefited from his kindness, can only continue to miss him greatly.

May God grant him eterenal peace and you the fortitude to bera your tremendous loss.
