Cynthia and I had a mutual friend in Linda Jacobs Lepore of Terryville, CT who introduced us. We 3 were roommates in Hartford briefly then lost touch almost 50 years ago. I wish I had spent more time with Cynthia and been there for her more. I have wondered about her often over the years and was very glad for all the heartfelt messages of condolence from those who loved her deeply. She had a good heart and her kindness shows in her face. Love never dies. She lives on in our hearts. I’ll always remember her young and beautiful.

I never met Cynthia, but I know that she touched my mother deeply. My mom and Cynthia grew up together and I remember looking at photos of them together in high school. I thought they were so cool! I idolized their clothes and hair and wondered what their lives had been like.

My mom has shared memories of Cynthia with me over the years and always with special tenderness and kindness of heart. From my understanding, Cynthia was someone who felt life deeply and who overcame great obstacles. She was courageous and loving.

I am grateful for Cynthia’s friendship with my mom and know that there will always be a place for her in both of our hearts.
