Dumais, Lieselotte

Lieselotte Johanna Dumais (nee Schröder) passed away peacefully the morning of Nov 22, 2015. Born January 7, 1930 in Körten Germany, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Johanna Schröder. Beloved Oma to Nat, Kim and Stephanie and extended family, Lee to her friends, we cherished her kind heart, generosity, loyalty and love for her family and friends. She lived a life notable for resilience and independence, was greatly self-reliant and a cornerstone of our family. After WWII she met Charles Dumais whom she married in 1954. Lee retired from Ludlow High School where she taught German, Spanish, French, and Remedial English. She was a longtime resident of Forest Park in Springfield, Massachusetts before moving to Farmington, Connecticut in 1999.
