Cresenzi, John

John Baptista Cresenzi, 90, of Farmington, husband of Frances (Morelli) Cresenzi , passed away Sunday February 11th. Born in Hartford on Aug 22nd 1927 son of the late Giam Battista Cresenzi and Rose (Ciufetti) Cresenzi, he resided in the Farmington area all his life.
Prior to retiring John was a Master painter with the E. Lawrence Rose Co. of Farmington for over 40 years. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII having served as a corporal in the 91st infantry regiment in the Pacific Theater of Operations. He was a member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus Uncas Council # 32. John was a lifelong communicant at the Church of St. Patrick in Farmington.
Besides his wife Frances, John is survived by his beloved daughter Elena R. Cresenzi of Farmington and many cousins.
Friends may call at the Ahern Funeral Home 111 Main St. Unionville Thursday Feb 15th from 8:30 to 10:00 am. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home is Thursday Feb 15th at 10:00 am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Patrick, 110 Main St., Farmington at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of St. Patrick, 110 Main St., Farmington, CT 06032.
