Hodgkinson, James Timothy (Tim)

James Timothy Hodgkinson (“Tim”), 67, of Burlington, passed away peacefully at New Britain Hospital on November 22, 2018. Tim was born in Bristol on November 13, 1951 and was the son of the late James R. and Billie Adele (Breining) Hodgkinson. Tim worked for New Departure for many years, and retired from the Town of Burlington Highway Department.
He will always be remembered for his huge heart, and contagious laughter. He leaves behind his daughter, Jillian Hodgkinson, whom he adored more than anything. He is survived by his siblings, Peter Hodgkinson of New Hartford, Caitlin Hurlburt of Bristol, and Mike Hurlburt of Elkhorn, WI. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, Emily George, Eric Hodgkinson, Jennifer Mueller, Amy Wierzbicki, Autumn Driscoll, Chris Jones and Mike Jones. He is also survived by a large amount of close friends who he considered family, including Frank Rossi Jr., and Joel Papapietro.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday (Dec. 1st) at 11:30 am at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville, where a brief memorial will be held.
